Natural Hair Blogs and Websites

Looking for information on how to maintain you and your little ones natural hair? A couple of our fans definitely do. Here is a list of blogs we recommend checking out. Some of these blogs are based in Nigeria, US, and the UK. From reading them one gets a great sense of the shear amount of knowledge, products, and DIY options to get natural healthy looking hair. This list is of course by no means definitive so feel free to let us know of other neat blogs.

Untrained Hair Mom. My name is Brooke, I am the author of this blog, which I started to document the trials and tribulations of D’s natural hair care journey in hopes of inspiring others, by informing them and providing them with resources, reviews and style how-to’s. Through this journey I have learned so much and this blog has evolved into much more. Upon learning about the many harmful ingredients that are out there, in not only our hair care products but in many household items a lot of us use daily, I set out on a whole new journey…a green home journey. My goal is to create a healthier home environment for my family, by replacing our chemical fill products with natural ingredients. I love to share what I learn about natural and green living by providing household tips, natural remedies and recipes, natural, kid-friendly, family-oriented product reviews and fun giveaways of these eco-friendly products!

My Hairitage. Ansylla endeavors to share her knowledge about natural hair care and wellness, while encouraging persons of African descent to embrace ALL facets of their beauty.

Knaps Girl. Here is their mission. To enhance womens' knowledge of their natural hair and provide products, apparel and accessories to enhance their self esteem.
